Role Overview
The Financial Institutions Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The role develops and manages strategic relationships with banks, fintechs, and other financial institutions across African markets.
The position supports partnership growth while coordinating with product, compliance, and risk teams.
Responsibilities
- Identify partnership opportunities and negotiate correspondent banking and payment arrangements.
- Oversee institutional partner onboarding and due diligence.
- Monitor regional partnership performance and analyze African financial ecosystem trends.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and risk teams on regulatory alignment and growth objectives.
- Prepare portfolio performance reports and manage operational escalations with partners.
- Represent Monfi at industry events and regional meetings.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and business development experience with African banks, fintechs, or payment institutions.
- Deep understanding of cross-border payments, correspondent banking, and multi-currency financial products.
- Knowledge of African financial institution regulatory frameworks, AML/CFT requirements, and compliance standards.
- Negotiation, contract management, stakeholder engagement, market analysis, risk assessment, and reporting skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
