Role Overview
The Controller will lead the finance function, combine hands-on work with team leadership, and support organizational change and process improvement.
The role requires credibility and communication skills to engage stakeholders throughout the modernization of finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Build financial models and analyze profitability, cost efficiency, and firm performance.
- Own full-cycle accounting across multiple entities, including consolidation, budgeting, and quarterly reforecasting.
- Maintain internal controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Drive system and process improvements with IT and operational stakeholders.
- Lead and develop the accounting team across accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and general accounting.
- Liaise with auditors, clients, and suppliers and contribute to strategic planning and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- CPA designation is required.
- At least 6 years of accounting experience, including several years of managerial experience, is required.
- Candidates should be technology savvy, interested in automation, collaborative, efficient communicators, and hands-on leaders.
