Role Overview
The Financial Analyst maintains control over budgeting, planning, and analysis.
The role requires structured thinking, organized work, cross-functional collaboration, and business partnering.
Responsibilities
- Prepare annual budgets using zero-based, incremental, and other budgeting techniques.
- Prepare business-unit budgets and forecasts and consolidate them into the overall budget or forecast.
- Monitor and compare financial performance against budgets and industry averages.
- Prepare management-requested analyses, scenarios, documentation, dashboards, and presentations.
- Prepare trends, appraisals, and other analyses requested by management.
- Deliver monthly reporting, dashboards, and analysis on deadline.
- Develop ad hoc financial models to support business-unit decision-making.
- Prepare investor information packs and communicate with investors periodically.
- Monitor the manpower budget and liaise with HR regarding new hires.
- Prepare scenarios, presentations, and analyses for long-, medium-, and short-term plans.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
- At least 8 years of relevant experience is required.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or FMVA qualifications are listed with the role.
- Proficiency in Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate is required.
