Financial planning and reporting
- Prepare the monthly group management pack with consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, KPIs, and variance commentary.
- Coordinate month-end close timelines, track open items, and escalate blockers.
- Maintain the intercompany matrix and reconcile balances before consolidation.
- Run the annual budget cycle, including templates, timelines, challenge sessions, consolidation, and board presentation.
Commercial and operational analysis
- Build scenario and sensitivity models for fleet expansion, delivery contracts, portfolio growth, and pricing changes.
- Analyse vehicle-wise profit and loss, utilisation, revenue per day, fleet appraisals, residual values, insurance, and maintenance costs.
- Analyse delivery, route, client, driver, and vehicle unit economics and contract pricing.
- Prepare owner-account, rent collection, arrears, occupancy, yield, service-charge, and maintenance recovery analysis.
Liquidity and investments
- Present findings and recommendations to unit heads and follow through on agreed actions.
- Support bank facility reviews, renewals, covenant monitoring, and bank information packs.
- Monitor liquidity, DSO, DPO, DIO, working-capital cycles, and funding requirements by entity.
- Evaluate asset finance, working-capital lines, and investment proposals.
- Prepare business cases, NPV, IRR, payback analyses, and post-investment reviews for capex, ventures, and acquisitions.
Governance and transformation
- Support due diligence, valuation, and financial modelling for investments or divestments.
- Support statutory audits through schedules, query resolution, and timeline tracking.
- Assist with UAE Corporate Tax, VAT, transfer-pricing documentation, and tax planning inputs.
- Identify control gaps and process inefficiencies and help implement improvements.
- Lead or coordinate finance transformation initiatives involving systems, automation, reporting tools, and dashboards.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
- CA, ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA completed or at final stage is strongly preferred.
- 6–10 years of UAE experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business partnering is required.
- At least 3 years of experience in a multi-entity group is required.
- Experience in fleet or rental, logistics, or real estate management is required.
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills are required.
- Experience with ERP systems and BI or dashboard tools such as Power BI is required.
- Working knowledge of IFRS, UAE Corporate Tax, and VAT is required.
- The candidate should be organised, commercially sharp, and comfortable with senior-level responsibility.
