Role overview

The Financial Analyst supports the Regional Finance Manager across the Middle East with financial analysis, reporting, and business partnering.

The role supports regional consolidation, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, working capital, cash flow, and strategic finance projects.

The role works with Finance, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate teams to translate financial data into insights and identify risks and opportunities.

Reporting and FP&A

  • Support monthly regional consolidation and management reporting across multiple entities.
  • Prepare consolidated profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
  • Perform intercompany reconciliations and investigate consolidation differences.
  • Analyze actual results against budgets, forecasts, and prior periods.
  • Prepare reporting packs, KPI analysis, management commentary, and variance explanations.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial projections, financial models, dashboards, and scenario analysis.

Business partnering and cash flow

  • Partner with Operations and project teams on revenue, costs, margins, profitability, and cash flow.
  • Monitor DSO, DPO, inventory, overdue receivables, liquidity, cash conversion, and project cash flow requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for operational decisions, business cases, project evaluations, and commercial decisions.

Strategic finance projects

  • Support investment, capital expenditure, expansion, manufacturing investment, and strategic finance projects.
  • Prepare business cases, financial models, investment projections, valuation analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Support ADIO grant claims tracking, reporting, reconciliations, eligible expenditure analysis, and audit or AUP activities.
  • Perform financial due diligence and goodwill or investment impairment assessments.

Team support and improvement

  • Provide temporary coverage and assistance for regional finance activities during absences and peak workload periods.
  • Undertake ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, projects, and other assignments as business requirements arise.
  • Improve reporting efficiency, data quality, standardization, and automation using Excel, SAP, and other systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Three to six years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, management reporting, commercial finance, or audit.
  • CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA is advantageous.
  • Experience with multiple entities, regional operations, or project-based and similar industries is preferred or advantageous.
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or another ERP system is preferred.
  • Strong Excel, financial modelling, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with Finance and Operations stakeholders.
