- The role is located in the Dubai International Financial Centre, Dubai.
- The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.
Role Overview
Manage accounting, tax, audit, and regulatory financial reporting for an investment firm and associated fund entities, general partners, holding companies, and SPVs.
The role requires a hands-on approach to financial operations, regulatory compliance, fund administration coordination, modelling, and valuation.
Accounting, Tax and Regulatory Reporting
- Maintain accounting records and prepare quarterly and annual IFRS financial statements.
- Manage closings, journal entries, reconciliations, management accounts, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
- Process invoices, payments, and payroll and maintain audit-ready records.
- Coordinate with fund administrators and review fund accounts, NAV packs, investor capital activity, fees, expenses, valuations, and financial statements.
- Prepare VAT and Corporate Tax returns with required reconciliations and supporting records.
- Coordinate statutory, regulatory, and internal audits.
- Prepare PIB and other financial and prudential returns and monitor regulatory capital and liquid resources.
