Responsibilities
- Responsible for end to end operation of Purchase and Payable Process including purchase orders, goods/services receipt, invoice recording, payment, and reconciliation
- Be the focal point of contact for suppliers, maintain cordial relationship and resolve issues on timely basis
- Responsible for Sales and Receivables process including invoicing, receipt, follow up, reconciliation and debtor management
- Approve JVs, AR, AP, Payroll, Fixed Assets and Banking transactions in the accounting system
- Routine/Monthly review of Trial Balance, schedules and reconciliation and maintain clean books of accounts
- Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual management accounts including variance analysis against budget
- Lead internal and external audit/review engagements financial, compliance or otherwise
- Take charge of WHT and VAT compliance including monthly return filing & payments and document maintenance
- Lead annual/quarterly tax and zakat exercise including payment and submission of returns
- Drawdown of loans as per agreed mechanism and ensure timely debt service
- Timely reporting to Lenders, LTA, LLA and other advisors under routine covenants
- Plan and declare maximum dividend distribution while preserving debt servicing and working capital
Requirements
- Experience in end to end accounting and financial management
- Knowledge of WHT and VAT compliance
- Experience with audit engagements
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
