Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor and maintain critical data centre infrastructure to ensure maximum uptime and reliability
- Carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance on electrical, HVAC, cooling, BMS, controls and medium voltage systems
- Monitor critical equipment through BMS, DCIM and plant monitoring systems, responding quickly to alarms and operational issues
- Perform routine inspections, equipment readings and operational walkdowns across data centre facilities
- Troubleshoot faults, diagnose equipment issues and support the safe restoration of critical systems
- Support emergency response activities, equipment shutdowns, start ups and incident recovery following approved operating procedures
- Work safely within Permit to Work (PTW), Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and Health & Safety procedures at all times
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, shift logs and CMMS work orders
- Work closely with engineers, vendors and contractors during maintenance activities and project works
- Support commissioning activities, system testing and operational readiness for new data centre facilities
Requirements
- Experience in electrical, medium voltage, HVAC, mechanical cooling, controls, or BMS backgrounds
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating shift pattern, including nights, weekends, and on call support
- Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) and Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures
- Experience with BMS, DCIM, and plant monitoring systems
