Finance Manager

Position Summary

• Financial Planning & Reporting

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor key financial KPIs and profitability metrics.

Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Finance

• Manage product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Monitor production costs, labor costs, overhead allocation, and material consumption.
• Analyze manufacturing efficiency and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review Bill of Materials (BOM) costing and inventory valuation.

Inventory & Working Capital Management

• Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation in accordance with accounting standards.
• Monitor inventory turnover and obsolete stock provisions.
• Manage working capital and cash flow requirements.

Internal Controls & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and company policies.
• Strengthen internal controls across finance and operations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Manage tax compliance, VAT filings, and statutory reporting.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Monitor cash flow forecasts and liquidity requirements.
• Manage banking relationships and financing facilities.
• Optimize cash utilization and working capital efficiency.

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Provide training, coaching, and performance management.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, supply chain, and sales departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (CPA, CMA, ACCA, CA, CFA).
• 7–12+ years of finance/accounting experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Infor.
