The role is a full-time Finance Manager position at Laith Al Obaidi Group in Dubai, UAE.
The position supports automotive and car trading operations and is part of the executive leadership team.
Financial Planning and Reporting
- Prepare annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budgets, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Support long-term financial planning and business expansion initiatives.
- Prepare compliant financial statements and ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing.
Accounting and Analysis
- Oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, and other day-to-day accounting operations.
- Analyze financial performance and profitability by department or project.
- Prepare management reports and dashboards for leadership review.
- Conduct cost analysis, investment evaluation, and financial feasibility studies.
Treasury and Controls
- Manage cash flow planning, liquidity, banking relationships, and financing arrangements.
- Monitor receivables and payables and control capital expenditure and financial commitments.
- Implement internal controls, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate audits, and monitor risk management.
Team Leadership
- Lead and supervise the finance and accounting team.
- Conduct performance evaluations and training programs.
- Promote continuous improvement and financial discipline.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
- CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CFA certification is highly desirable.
- Minimum 8–10 years of senior financial leadership experience.
- Automotive, retail, or trading experience is preferred.
- Fluency in Arabic is essential; English is a plus.
Compensation
- The stated salary range is AED 20,000–25,000; no compensation cadence is specified.
