About the Role
A confidential company in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee financial affairs, prepare management accounts, monitor project costs, and manage budgets. Requires 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor's in Commerce/Accounting, and professional qualifications like CA, ACCA, or CPA.

Responsibilities
- Ensure all financial and accounting processes comply with Company/Group policies and IFRS
- Prepare monthly/quarterly and annual financial and management accounts including AP, AR, Cash Management, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Ledger through Dynamics 365
- Work closely with management to drive business performance, providing real time financial information and analysis
- Monitor project costs by comparing actual vs budgets and take immediate actions to avoid delays or excessive costs
- Work with procurement team to achieve targets in cost, quality and payment terms
- Prepare final draft annual budget for management and board approval, and quarterly reviews against budget
- Oversee and manage Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credit process
- Coordinate with internal clients and companies to ensure accounts are tallied, settled and updated monthly
- Provide support to internal and external auditors to ensure audit is passed with minimum findings
- Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate and manage risks effectively
Requirements
- Bachelors in Commerce/ Accounting
- MBA Finance is preferred
- Professional qualifications CA, ACCA and/or CPA are a distinct advantage
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar position (5 years management position)
- Proficiency in MS Office and other accounting tools, ORACLE
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, finalization, account closing, funds management, financial forecasting and cost analysis

Role Summary
- The incumbent will be responsible for the supervision and handling of the financial affairs of the organization and supports sound business decisions through accurate and insightful financial information.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all financial and accounting process / procedures comply with the Company’s/Group policies and procedures in all aspects, and in accordance with applicable IFRSs.
- Prepare company’s monthly/quarterly and annual financial and management accounts, including but not limited to Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Inventory, Fixed Assets, General Ledger through Dynamics 365 and other operational software.
- Work closely with management to drive business performance, providing real time financial information, reports, analysis to avoid/reduce excessive direct or indirect costs.
- Closely monitor projects’ costs by comparing actual VS budgets and taking immediate actions to avoid delays, excessive, expensive, out of scope purchases.
- Work closely with procurement team to achieve targets in terms of cost, quality and payment terms.
- Maintain regular contact with projects team to ensure updated project information.
- Prepare final draft annual budget to be submitted to Management and Board for approval for the company and different stakeholders. Additionally prepare quarterly reviews against budget.
- Oversee and manage Bank Guarantees and Letter of Credit process to ensure accuracy and avoid delays or fines.
- Coordinate with internal Clients and Companies to ensure all accounts have been tallied, settled and updated on a monthly basis.
- Provide full support in relation to financial transactions and records to internal and external auditors to ensure accounts can be signed off and audit is passed with minimum audit findings.

Educational qualifications and skills required
- Bachelors in Commerce/ Accounting
- MBA Finance is preferred
- Professional qualifications CA, ACCA and/ or CPA are a distinct advantage.

- MS Office and other accounting tools, ORACLE.
- Fluent in English.
