About the Role
Kavak is seeking a Finance & Business Intern to support the development and operations of its automotive financing division in the UAE. The intern will assist in market research, financial analysis, operations, compliance, and project tracking.

Responsibilities
- Assist in market research and competitor analysis for auto financing products in the UAE
- Help prepare financial analyses, dashboards, and reports to support decision making
- Support the creation of presentations for internal teams and leadership
- Learn about loan application, underwriting, and servicing processes
- Assist in coordinating with internal teams and external partners, including legal and compliance advisors
- Support testing and documentation for financial systems, including loan management platforms
- Help track project timelines and milestones for financing initiatives
- Collaborate with teams across Sales, Marketing, IT, and Operations to support smooth execution
- Assist in monitoring key metrics such as loan origination volumes and portfolio performance
- Support basic financial and operational reporting
- Learn how to identify trends and insights that help improve business performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
- Strong interest in finance, fintech, lending, or the automotive industry
- Good analytical skills and comfort with Excel or Google Sheets; familiarity with financial modeling is a plus
- Eager to learn, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Any prior internship, academic project, or exposure to finance, data analysis, or fintech is a plus, but not required
