About the Role
Force d'Action Navale seeks a detail-focused Procurement Assistant to support purchasing activities, coordinate orders, and manage procurement processes.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily purchasing and procurement activities from request through delivery.
- Prepare purchase orders, quotation requests, and procurement documentation.
- Research suppliers, products, pricing, and available purchasing options.
- Collect and compare supplier quotations, specifications, and commercial terms.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, delivery schedules, pricing, and documentation.
- Monitor purchase orders and follow up on delayed or outstanding deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier information, contracts, and invoices.
- Coordinate with finance, operations, warehouse, and other internal teams.
- Assist with supplier onboarding, evaluations, and performance tracking.
- Resolve routine purchasing discrepancies and delivery issues.
- Track procurement spending and support cost-control initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to improve purchasing workflows, efficiency, and supplier performance.
