Responsibilities
- Maintain round-the-clock IT service desk operations and support critical or urgent matters outside standard working hours when necessary.
- Monitor service performance against agreed SLAs and report weekly to support customer satisfaction and business continuity.
- Maintain application uptime while working with end users and system administrators.
- Resolve escalated tickets involving applications, operating systems, devices, connectivity, LAN networking, and port configuration.
- Implement infrastructure support best practices using service management tools.
- Maintain installation and configuration documentation in the knowledge repository.
- Install operating system patches on desktops, Lenovo and Apple laptops, and Microsoft Surface devices using SCCM.
- Manage team performance and support team upskilling.
- Implement and monitor security controls across infrastructure, endpoints, and applications with the cybersecurity team.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with on-site support, network maintenance, infrastructure troubleshooting, and application debugging.
- Good knowledge of JIRA and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Technical Skills
- Set up hardware and maintain functioning LAN/WAN networks.
- Work with the cybersecurity team to implement security solutions.
- Troubleshoot bugs and system failures.
- Windows system administration knowledge.
- Configure, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, laptops, printers, iPhones, iPads, peripherals, and docking stations.
