Responsibilities
- Undertake servicing of equipment on site and at service center per Alfa Laval standards
- Perform installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, audits, repairs, and maintenance of high speed separators, decanters, and plate heat exchangers
- Troubleshoot electrical/PLC controls and train customer crew on equipment
- Execute audits and maintenance activities related to service agreements
- Generate service business leads using FSE Lead app
- Submit service reports, expense reports, and customer signed timesheets timely
- Support sales functions in technical solutions and participate in technical forums
Requirements
- Engineering background in Mechanical, Electrical, or Automation with hands on experience
- Minimum 5 8 years of experience in rotating equipment, heat exchangers, decanters, high speed separators
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and digital reporting
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Valid driving license
- Flexibility to work on long duration assignments and overtime

About the Job
- Field Service Operations Department is looking for a Field Service Engineer to be located in Dubai, UAE.
- This is an interesting and challenging opportunity to be part of a dynamic, motivated & competent team.
Responsibilities
- Undertaking servicing of equipment (on site & service center) as per Alfa Laval standards and procedures.
- Responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, audits, developing solutions, fault finding, repairs and maintenance of products such as high speed separators & decanters and plate heat exchangers.
- Act as a service advisor for Alfa Laval helping to accelerate service business growth.
- Troubleshooting of Electrical / PLC controls, training customer crew on Alfa Laval equipment.
- Executing Audits and maintenance activities related to Service Agreements.
- Explore business development and every possible opportunity.
- Ensure fulfilment of service visits as per service agreements.
- Ensure documentation of every visit and minute all observations and commitments with the customer.
- Resolve customer complaints in the shortest time possible.
- Communication of problems observed to the respective managers for preventative/remedial actions.
- Proactively recommend to customers on timely purchasing of spares and timely servicing.
- Concerted effort to advise customers for service agreements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Engineering background / Mechanical / Electrical / Automation with hands on experience.
- Process control instrumentation, understanding of software programmes and industrial networking experience and knowledge will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 8 years’ experience in rotating equipment, heat exchangers, decanters, high speed separators and associated equipment.
- Good knowledge & practical skills in Microsoft office packages and digital reporting.
- Good communication & negotiation skills.
