Position Overview
The role is Field Operator (Non Process Units) within Technical Facilities Management.
The position supports safe field start-up and operation of non-process plant facilities under the direction of Shift Leads and Panel Operators.
The Field Operator also provides on-the-job training to employer operators.
Main Duties
- Carry out field activities during plant start-up and operation and assist with manual equipment adjustments.
- Load and unload chemicals and fluids, observe instruments and meters, and collect and analyze operational samples.
- Maintain HSSE performance and follow plant operating, start-up, pre-commissioning, and commissioning procedures.
- Assist maintenance disciplines and vendor specialists with troubleshooting and facility stabilization.
- Complete shift handovers, review permit-to-work activities, and support safe shutdown and isolation.
