Role Overview
Field Operations Lead supporting project execution across Qatar and China.
The role focuses on operational readiness, offshore installation, commissioning, startup, and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure HSEQ principles are integrated across all project activities.
- Develop and update operating philosophies, manuals, and procedures.
- Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, risk assessments, and operability and maintainability studies.
- Prepare with project and commissioning teams for offshore installation and startup.
- Identify operational risks and production impacts and propose mitigation measures.
- Participate in 3D model reviews and technical workshops.
- Represent Field Operations during factory acceptance testing for critical equipment.
- Support operational training for new facilities.
- Assist site operations during installation, commissioning, and handover.
- Capture lessons learned after project completion.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
- 5–10 years of experience in production operations and project environments, preferably offshore.
- Strong knowledge of production, process, and flow assurance engineering.
- Experience with HAZOP, HAZID, and risk assessments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural and complex project environment.
- Willingness to travel to contractor sites and support offshore activities when required.
- Fluent in English.

- The role is based across Qatar and China.
- The role includes contractor-site travel and support for offshore activities when required.
