Job Purpose
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform.
Build scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions, including map-based features.
Use Clean Architecture, MVVM, automated testing, and continuous improvement practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and build map features such as tracking, routing, markers, and geofencing.
- Apply Clean Architecture, collaborate across product and engineering teams, and write clean, reusable, documented code.
- Identify bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks while ensuring application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and improve development standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- At least 6 years of Android application development experience with strong Kotlin and Jetpack Compose proficiency.
- Experience developing map-based Android applications with Google Maps, Mapbox, or a similar platform.
- Understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, separation of concerns, Android Jetpack, RESTful APIs, and JSON integration.
- Experience with third-party libraries, SDKs, Git, dependency injection, Coroutines, Flow, unit testing, and UI testing.
- Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform, Compose Multiplatform, application performance optimization, and security best practices.
