Role Overview
Atkins Réalis Group is seeking an experienced Field Engineer - Electrical for a major development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role supervises and monitors electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
The project includes convention centers, hotels, resorts, commercial buildings, and mixed-use developments.
Your Role
- Supervise and inspect electrical construction activities for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Monitor installation of power distribution systems, transformers, substations, switchgear, generators, UPS, lighting, grounding, lightning protection, and ELV systems.
- Conduct routine site inspections to verify workmanship quality and compliance with approved standards and construction methodologies.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and electrical technical documentation.
- Verify that delivered electrical materials and equipment conform to approved submittals and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and construction progress against approved schedules and project milestones.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, ICT, security, and specialist systems.
- Witness inspections, testing, cable testing, energization procedures, and commissioning operations.
Requirements
- Ensure electrical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, contractual requirements, quality standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Review contractor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation for electrical works.
- Verify that electrical materials and equipment delivered to site conform to approved submittals and project specifications.
- Coordinate electrical works with civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, ICT, security, and specialist systems.
