- Process customer purchases accurately and efficiently using the POS system
- Handle cash, credit/debit card, and digital payment transactions
- Balance the cash register and reconcile daily transactions
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and resolving billing inquiries professionally
- Ensure accurate pricing, discounts, promotions, and loyalty program transactions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient checkout area
- Assist with product bagging and support customers when required
- Report discrepancies, technical issues, or customer concerns to the Store Manager
- Follow company policies, cash handling procedures, and loss prevention guidelines
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Cashier in a supermarket or hypermarket
- Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) is preferred
- Ability to work under pressure and during flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Must be currently based in Dubai, UAE
- Candidates holding their own valid UAE visa will be given preference
