Federal Work Study - Humanities Assistant

Essential Duties

• This position will assist the Humanities department as a whole while directly reporting to the department chair. Applicants should be willing to assist with paperwork like creating schedule documents, contracts, etc. They will also be asked to help restock/refill the instructional supply area and/or help with copies/retrieving mail from the mailroom. Other jobs/tasks will arise, but those are the most common ones that the student worker will be asked to assist with.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be eligible to participate in the Federal Work Study program as determined by the Financial Aid Office. Must be enrolled in at least 6 credit hours. Basic computer literacy (typing, manipulating more than one document at a time, etc.), ability to lift up to 10 pounds, organization skills, ability to work independently, good communication skills (written and oral) --- NOT REQUIRED JUST A BONUS: Bilingual in English & Spanish
