Requirements
- Strong Fashion Design and Fashion skills, with a refined sense of style suitable for modest fashion and global markets
- Knowledge of Textiles, including fabric behavior, drape, durability, and suitability for different garment types and climates
- Experience in Embroidery and surface embellishment techniques
- Proficiency in Fitting, including reviewing samples on various body types, providing corrections, and ensuring comfort and functionality
- Ability to create clear technical drawings and specifications, ideally using fashion design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, or similar)
- Strong trend research skills, with an understanding of modest fashion markets and regional preferences
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross functional and multicultural remote teams
- Organized, detail oriented, and able to manage multiple designs and deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Relevant diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textiles, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Previous experience in modest fashion or womenswear is an advantage

Role Description
- This is a full time remote role for a Fashion Designer at Kashkha.
- The Fashion Designer will conceptualize and develop modest fashion collections that align with Kashkha’s aesthetic and brand values.
- Daily responsibilities include sketching and refining designs, selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating closely with pattern makers, merchandisers, and production teams.
- The role involves creating detailed technical specifications, overseeing fittings, and ensuring the final garments meet quality, comfort, and style standards.
- The Fashion Designer will also research trends in modest fashion, monitor global market preferences, and support the development of seasonal collections and special capsules.
Qualifications
