Responsibilities
- Manage day to day factory operations and production activities
- Develop and execute production plans to meet project schedules and client requirements
- Lead production teams including supervisors, engineers, carpenters, machine operators, and support staff
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials
- Monitor production efficiency and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and approved shop drawings
- Coordinate with Planning, Procurement, Design, QA/QC, and Project teams
- Monitor production KPIs, productivity, material wastage, and machine performance
- Ensure preventive maintenance of factory equipment and machinery
- Implement Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies throughout the factory
- Control manufacturing costs and optimize operational efficiency
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management
Requirements
- Extensive experience in factory management, specifically in joinery or woodworking
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of production planning, quality standards, and HSE regulations
- Experience with preventive maintenance and cost optimization
