Facilities Technician

A Facilities Technician is responsible for the maintenance, repair, and improvement of a facility’s infrastructure and equipment ensuring facility systems run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, air compressors, DI water, and exhaust systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility infrastructure and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Support facility upgrades, installations, and renovations related to cleanroom and manufacturing environments.
• Monitor and maintain building management systems (BMS) and environmental controls.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain documentation for inspections, maintenance logs, and equipment performance.
• Assist with contractor coordination and supervise vendor work as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience, ideally in semiconductor, solar, or other cleanroom-based manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with cleanroom protocols, high-purity gas systems, or solar cell production equipment a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and equipment manuals.
• Basic computer skills and experience with maintenance management software.
• Strong attention to detail; troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
