- Develop detailed façade drawings, including shop drawings, and ensure design solutions meet structural, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and revise 2D and 3D drawings
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers
- Integrate façade elements such as cladding and glazing into overall building designs
- Review technical specifications, support material selection, and help resolve design and site related issues
- Ensure documentation accuracy, maintain drawing standards, and contribute to project timelines and quality objectives
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to create and interpret detailed shop drawings and construction documentation
- Strong knowledge of façade systems, including Facade Design principles and integration with building structures
- Experience working with cladding systems and associated detailing
- Understanding of glazing systems, including performance, safety, and aesthetic considerations
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and relevant design tools
- Knowledge of local building codes, standards, and industry best practices for façade construction
- Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Diploma or degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field

Role Description
- The Facade Designer/Draftsman is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
- Develop detailed façade drawings, including shop drawings, and ensure design solutions meet structural, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and revise 2D and 3D drawings, coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers.
