Job Summary
- Responsible for all food and beverage operations including culinary, restaurant, beverage, and room service.
- Oversees guest and employee satisfaction, maintaining standards and meeting financial goals.
- Demonstrates knowledge of applicable food and beverage laws and regulations.
- Develops and implements business plan for food and beverage.
Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- OR 2 year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2 years experience.
Developing and Maintaining Budgets
- Develops and manages all financial, employee engagement and guest satisfaction plans for F&B.
- Maintains a positive cost management index for kitchen and restaurant operations.
- Utilizes budgets to understand financial objectives.
Leading Food and Beverage Team
- Manages the Food and Beverage departments (not catering sales).
- Supervises and manages employees; performs duties in employees' absence.
- Uses interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence.
- Oversees all culinary, restaurant, beverage and room service operations.
- Creates a property environment emphasizing motivation, empowerment, and teamwork.
- Provides excellent customer service to all employees.
- Responds quickly to employee concerns.
- Provides proactive coaching and counseling.
- Encourages mutual trust, respect, and cooperation.
- Monitors and maintains employee productivity.
- Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize work.
- Provides leadership and direction to prioritize departmental goals.
Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Responds quickly to guest concerns.
- Understands the brand's service culture.
- Drives alignment of employees to the brand's service culture.
- Sets service expectations for all guests.
- Takes ownership of guest complaints until resolved.
- Verifies banquet functions are up to standard and exceed expectations.
- Provides services above and beyond for customer satisfaction.
- Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals.
- Serves as a role model.
- Manages day to day operations and drives quality.
Managing and Conducting Human Resource Activities
- Provides guidance and direction to subordinates.
- Conducts performance reviews in a timely manner.
- Promotes Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door policies.
- Identifies developmental needs and coaches others.
- Develops formal educational or training programs.
- Develops action plans based on employee engagement and guest satisfaction results.
Additional Responsibilities
- Complies with all corporate accounting procedures.

- Analyzes information and evaluates results to solve problems.
