Expert Engineer/Network Security

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network security systems.
• Manage Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, Juniper SRX, and Huawei firewalls.
• Manage access control lists and policy filters on high-end Cisco routers and switches.
• Analyze network architecture and recommend infrastructure expansion and upgrade strategies.
• Diagnose problems and resolve issues under time constraints.
• Coordinate security planning for new projects and ensure security practices are followed.
• Provide L2/L3 support for network security service degradation or interruptions.
• Coordinate with TAC on hardware, software, network problems, and faulty-equipment RMAs.
• Provide 24/7 call-out support for L2/L3 escalations.

Qualifications

• In-depth technical knowledge of security devices, infrastructure networks, Internet, cloud, data centers, and IPTV.
• Hands-on experience with UTM, SD-WAN, SASE, IPS/IDS, Fortinet, Juniper, and Cisco technologies.
• Design and hands-on experience with information security products and security controls.
• Telecom environment experience is preferred.
• Good documentation and presentation skills.
• Security certifications such as CCNP Security, JNCIP Security, or NSE4 are preferred.
• Experience in an ITIL-based operations environment, including change, incident, and problem management.
• Minimum qualification of a BS in Computer Science or BS/BE in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of network security experience.
