Lead and manage Global Markets structured trading and solutions activities.
Oversee transaction structuring and execution, risk and investment return analysis, and support for junior traders.
Maximize profitability while minimizing risk exposure and ensuring compliance with internal policy and external regulators.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the business strategy and manage customer flow to meet and surpass budget objectives.
- Develop products, collateral, pricing constructs, valuation curves, booking models, systems, and processes.
- Provide pricing, support distribution, accompany sales on customer visits, and maintain customer relationships.
- Work with quant and Risk teams on pricing, mandates, risk appetite, reporting, and mitigation strategies.
- Produce market commentary and trade recommendations when required.
- Cultivate relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant markets experience in similar positions.
- Strong structuring and trading experience in financing illiquid assets such as loans, private markets, CLOs, or collateralized fund obligations.
- Strong market-making skills, risk management techniques, analytical capability, and quantitative skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations, jurisdictions, and compliance requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including VBA or macro development.
- Strong interpersonal skills, initiative, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with stakeholders.
Preferred and Beneficial
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional finance certification is preferred.
- Experience with Murex is preferred.
- Bloomberg user experience is beneficial.
