Role Overview
The Executive Chocolatier leads chocolate production and product development.
The role focuses on creating new products, developing recipes, and maintaining high standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop chocolate products, fillings, pralines, truffles, bars, and seasonal collections.
- Lead research and development for new chocolate concepts and flavors.
- Manage daily production and ensure consistent product quality.
- Standardize recipes, production methods, and quality control procedures.
- Perform tempering, molding, enrobing, panning, and decorative techniques.
- Source and evaluate chocolate ingredients and specialty materials.
- Train, mentor, and supervise chocolatiers and production staff.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate raw material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Collaborate on product launches and special projects.
- Stay informed about global chocolate trends, techniques, and innovations.
Required Requirements
- Four to eight years of experience as a Chocolatier, Senior Chocolatier, Head Chocolatier, or Executive Chocolatier.
- Experience creating and developing new chocolate products from concept to production.
