Assistant Pastry Chef

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Pastry Chef with chocolate, pastry, and dessert production.
• Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients according to recipes.
• Prepare éclairs, choux pastry, profiteroles, cakes, mousses, and other desserts.
• Prepare ganache, pastry cream, diplomat cream, Chantilly cream, and other fillings.
• Assist with pralines, chocolate tempering, and basic chocolate decoration.
• Maintain product quality, taste, presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, and inventory processes.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef or in a similar pastry role.
• Strong pastry technique and chocolate production knowledge are required.
• Pastry production experience is preferred.
• Chocolate handling and decoration knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, quality commitment, teamwork, pressure tolerance, hygiene, and professionalism are required.
• HACCP certification is preferred.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE and willing to complete a practical skills test.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary is AED 2,500–3,000 per month, depending on skills, experience, and performance.

• Work location is in person in Dubai Investment Park 2.
• Reliable commuting or willingness to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package is preferred.
