Role overview
The hotel is seeking an Event Sales Executive to generate event business, develop client relationships, promote meeting and event facilities, and achieve sales targets.
The role covers meetings, conferences, weddings, banquets, exhibitions, and corporate events.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop new event business opportunities.
- Maintain relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, wedding planners, agencies, and key accounts.
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, hotel site inspections, and presentations.
- Prepare event proposals, quotations, and contracts.
- Follow up on leads and quotations to maximize conversion and revenue.
- Coordinate with hotel departments to support smooth event execution.
- Maintain sales records and negotiate rates within approved guidelines.
- Achieve sales targets, monitor the market, and participate in networking and promotional activities.
- Provide customer service, obtain feedback, and prepare regular sales reports.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in event sales, hotel sales, banquet sales, or MICE is required.
