Evening Custodian

Strong customer service skills

Ability to positively contribute to the team and work collaboratively

Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively speak, read and write in English

Experience maintaining and operating cleaning equipment (e.g., carpet cleaner, floor scrubber, Kaivac machine, and vacuum cleaners)

Physically capable of performing housekeeping duties for extended periods, including sweeping, wet mopping, vacuuming, room cleaning and bed making, cleaning and disinfecting low and high touch surfaces, operating housekeeping equipment, moving laundry and cleaning carts, lifting and folding laundry, reaching and lifting above shoulder height, and lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs

Strong knowledge of the safe use and application of cleaning chemicals and products

Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft 360 applications

Successful completion of First Aid training within three to six months is a requirement of the role or provide proof of current certification

Current WHMIS certifications
