Purpose of Job
- Jobholders at this level are experienced professionals capable of conducting work with general directions.
- They undertake complex operational activities including developing investigation operational plan, setting investigator rotation schedule, reviewing classification and prioritization of risks, managing investigations on customs evasions, and evaluating investigation activities.
Job Details
- Review developed Customs investigations plans and form a clear understanding of set related objectives and guideline.
- Develop investigations operational plan to lead day to day investigation activities.
- Set investigators rotation schedule in line with developed investigation operational plan.
- Review and assess raised investigation cases to classify and prioritize identified risks.
- Conduct investigation on customs evasions, fraud, and breaches through different techniques.
- Evaluate investigation activities to ensure uniformity and standardization.
- Manage investigators activities ensuring proper compliance with investigation operational plan.
- Receive and analyze objections and appeals on investigation decisions.
- Prepare final assessment report including findings.
- Consolidate in a report all underlined potential trends and repetitive actions.
- Develop investigator's performance report underlining operational gaps and training needs.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting or Law or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
