Job Description
Diagnose, service, maintain, and repair electric vehicles and their electrical, electronic, battery, and charging systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot EV electrical and electronic systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electric vehicles.
- Inspect and repair motors, controllers, wiring, sensors, and charging systems.
- Diagnose and service EV battery packs and battery management systems.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify vehicle faults.
- Service vehicles according to manufacturer and safety standards.
- Conduct road tests and verify repairs after servicing.
- Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
Safety
- Handle high-voltage EV systems using appropriate safety procedures and personal protective equipment.
Requirements
- Ability to handle high-voltage electric vehicle systems using appropriate safety procedures and personal protective equipment.
- Ability to perform vehicle servicing according to manufacturer and safety standards.
