European Experienced Restaurant General Manager - Luxury Property

• Apt Resources is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead the food and beverage operations for one of our clients in the Red Sea, Saudi Arabia.
• In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, managing daily restaurant activities, and driving operational excellence.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding service in a luxury hospitality environment.
• Responsibilities* Oversee and manage all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure high standards of quality and service.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue, control costs, and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Lead, train, and motivate a diverse team of restaurant staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and excellence.
• Maintain strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor financial performance, prepare reports, and propose improvements to achieve business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
• Coordinate special events, promotions, and private dining functions as required.
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
• Handle recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for restaurant staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager, preferably within luxury hotels or upscale dining establishments.
• Strong familiarity with Michelin Guide standards (preferred) and/or Forbes Travel Guide standards (acceptable).
• Experience working in or opening venues that have achieved Michelin recognition is highly desirable.
• Background in hotel-based F&B operations is essential, with the ability to operate effectively within multi-layered leadership structures (e.g., reporting to F&B Director, Resort Manager, General Manager).
• Demonstrated adaptability transitioning between standalone restaurants and hotel environments, with a strong understanding of both dynamics.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent understanding of food and beverage operations and luxury guest service standards.
• Ability to develop and execute effective operational strategies.
• Sound financial acumen with experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
