- Manage day to day manufacturing operations ensuring efficiency and adherence to production schedules
- Coordinate cross functional teams to optimize workflow and processes in the production of glass and silica products
- Oversee procurement of raw materials and manage supplier relationships
- Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and production requirements
- Implement and supervise quality assurance protocols
- Collaborate with quality control teams to identify and resolve product defects or process inefficiencies
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce waste
- Utilize data and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment
- Promote adherence to environmental standards relevant to the glass and silica industry
- Prepare and present operational reports to senior management highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and solutions
- Lead and mentor operations staff fostering a culture of accountability and continuous learning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, Glass Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 10–15 years of experience within industrial manufacturing environments
- Mandatory experience in glass manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of silica processing, industrial minerals, or raw material management
- Experience with container glass, flat glass, architectural glass, specialty glass, or related glass manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of production planning, inventory management, procurement, logistics, and operational performance management
- Ability to work within greenfield & brownfields, expansion, or rapidly growing industrial environments
- Experience supporting factory setup, commissioning, or major expansion projects
- Willingness to work on a fixed term contract basis
- Lean Management, Six Sigma, Project Management or Operations excellence certificates are advantageous

Salary & Benefits
- Salary: USD 5,000 to USD 9,000 per month.
