EUC System Administration Specialist

Job Purpose

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in Change Advisory Board reviews and change management.
• Build automated images for desktop, tablet, and rugged devices using SCCM, Intune, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
• Deploy devices, monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and software licenses to end users.
• Manage Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA, user permissions, Intune, Endpoint servers, and related IT systems.
• Review cybersecurity patches and develop rollout plans for client devices.
• Engineer, build, deploy, and operate IT services for internal customers.
• Maintain desktop IT standards, service documentation, and process documents.
• Perform root cause analysis and resolve equipment reliability, failure rate, and service downtime issues.
• Develop maintenance strategies and weekly schedules for production and non-production assets.
• Contribute knowledge to the support team and manage technology delivery to service level agreements.
• Use Ansible and other automation tools and maintain Windows 10 and 11 patch version control.
• Maintain Azure and VMware virtual desktop environments and improve system usage efficiency.

Education and Experience

• A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• At least five years of experience in a large company or government entity is required.
• Experience with OT or manufacturing is advantageous.
• ITIL v3+ Foundation certification is preferred.

• Strong oral, written communication, and presentation skills are required.
• The role requires continuous improvement, service and customer orientation, process discipline, and analytical problem-solving.
• The candidate should be able to influence and educate others and work effectively with service providers and vendors.
• The role requires coding ability in PowerShell, Visual Basic, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
