Role Purpose
Estimator role supporting quotations, invoices, resource planning, and cost estimation for shipyard jobs.
The role coordinates with internal commercial and business development teams and external suppliers, subcontractors, regulators, and clients.
Internal Communication and Coordination
- Submit quotations and invoices for approval.
- Monitor effective implementation of shipyard strategies related to quotations and invoicing.
- Coordinate resource plans for cost estimation of jobs.
- Coordinate with the Business Development team to meet customer expectations.
- Work with commercial management, shipyard employees, business development, corporate functions, and key accounts.
External Communication
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure services received comply with job requirements and Milaha standards.
- Ensure compliance with shipyard rules and regulations.
- Maintain good working relationships with client representatives.
Health, Safety, and Environment
- Remain accountable for personal acts and omissions.
- Follow agreed safe systems of work, training, and instructions.
- Report accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Stop work when the work is considered unsafe.
