Role overview
Assist the Estimating Manager in preparing realistic and competitive labor and material cost estimates for projects.
Support management evaluation of project economic viability and tender participation decisions.
Responsibilities
- Procure labor and material costs internally and vet quotations to establish competitive costs for management review.
- Prepare post-award job summaries covering labor, materials, quantities, and quality in line with client specifications.
- Support professional and cost-effective estimating processes in coordination with the Quantity Surveying department.
- Finalize tenders using CCS.
- Prepare estimates for labor and material cost variations caused by client-proposed drawing changes.
- Prepare and price bills of quantities from project drawings for Estimating Manager approval.
- Assist with pre-completion and post-completion cost reports to assess project profitability.
Qualifications
- 2–3 years of experience in a large construction or interior fit-out company.
- Higher Diploma in Quantity Surveying.
