About the Role
dnata is seeking a Light Bus Driver/Equipment Operator to operate motorized and technical equipment for airport operations. The role involves loading/unloading baggage and cargo, operating ground support equipment, and performing ramp operations.

Responsibilities
- Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures
- Operate and inspect Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with training and operating manuals
- Support airside operations by sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo
- Ensure safe marshalling and movement of vehicles and equipment around aircraft
- Position, organize, retrieve, store, and transfer dollies, trolleys, ULDs, baggage, cargo, and documentation
- Perform ramp operations including safe loading and unloading of aircraft
- Provide passenger ambulance handling support and assist with equipment management activities
Requirements
- High School degree (minimum 10 years of schooling)
- 1 2 years of experience in Ground Support Equipment and on job training / Bus Driving Experience
- UAE Driving license
- Basic Communication Skills
- Basic Safety Awareness, Human Factors (HFT), Dangerous Goods Training (DGT)

Job Purpose

In This Role, You Will
- Comply with all safety, quality, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Follow departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and daily operational requirements.
- Operate and inspect Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in accordance with training, operating manuals, and assigned responsibilities.
- Support airside operations by sorting, loading, and unloading baggage and cargo, including both bulk and unitised loads.
- Ensure the safe marshalling and movement of vehicles and equipment around aircraft and within busy operational areas.
- Position, organise, retrieve, store, and transfer dollies, trolleys, ULDs, baggage, cargo, and associated documentation.
- Perform ramp operations, including the safe loading and unloading of aircraft in line with load plans.
- Provide passenger ambulance handling support and assist with equipment management activities.
Qualification
- Must hold a High School degree (Minimum of 10 years of schooling required).
- Must have 1 2 years of experience in Ground Support Equipment and on job training / Bus Driving Experience.
- Must have a UAE Driving license.
- Basic Communication Skills.
- Basic Safety Awareness, Human Factors (HFT), Dangerous Goods Training (DGT).
