Role Description
The Equipment Manager is a part-time, remote role supporting ministry programs and operations.
The role manages and coordinates equipment and assets, including inventory, allocation, maintenance, repairs, procurement, and lifecycle planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Track inventory and maintain accurate asset records.
- Ensure equipment is properly allocated to teams and initiatives.
- Schedule maintenance, coordinate repairs, and oversee equipment lifecycle activities.
- Collaborate with departments and external vendors on procurement and service agreements.
- Support compliance with relevant government standards and policies.
- Report on equipment status, forecast needs, and contribute to process improvements.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated asset and inventory management skills, including tracking, documentation, and lifecycle planning.
- Experience coordinating equipment maintenance, repairs, and vendor relationships is required.
- Proficiency with digital asset-tracking tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting is required.
- Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
- Experience in government or large organizations is described as ideal, not mandatory.
