Responsibilities
- Design end to end data platforms, including Medallion Lakehouse architectures, supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI driven use cases
- Architect data platforms that enable feature engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI workloads
- Translate complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and production ready data solutions
- Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise wide data initiatives
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fields
- Proven expertise designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse platforms, including Medallion architecture
- Strong experience with cloud native data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Hands on experience designing data platforms that support AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases
- Deep understanding of data modelling, data governance, security, and enterprise scale data platform design
- Experience with Delta Lake, data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimisation
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Role Overview
- We are looking for an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and delivering modern, enterprise scale data platforms.
- The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Databricks and cloud native data architectures, with a proven track record of building scalable, high performance data ecosystems.
- You will be responsible for designing end to end data platforms, including Medallion Lakehouse architectures, that support advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI driven use cases.
- A strong background in AI is essential, with experience designing architectures that enable feature engineering, MLOps, and Generative AI workloads.
- You should be comfortable working across both architecture and engineering, translating complex business requirements into secure, scalable, and production ready data solutions.
Key Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related fields
- Proven expertise designing and implementing Databricks Lakehouse platforms, including Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) architecture
- Strong experience with cloud native data platforms, preferably on Microsoft Azure
- Hands on experience designing data platforms that support AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI use cases
- Deep understanding of data modelling, data governance, security, and enterprise scale data platform design
- Experience with Delta Lake, data pipelines, ETL/ELT frameworks, and performance optimisation
- Ability to collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise wide data initiatives
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences
