Role Overview
The role defines, governs, and drives target-state architecture for a complex enterprise ecosystem spanning Azure, GCP, and OCI.
The architecture must support cloud-native microservices, API-led integration, legacy modernization, security, compliance, and interoperability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the enterprise target architecture and technology roadmap.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, and governance processes.
- Lead architecture review boards and design authority forums.
- Align business strategy, transformation objectives, and technology investments.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend adoption.
- Design and govern solutions across Azure, GCP, and OCI.
- Define cloud placement strategies using regulatory, data, performance, security, and cost criteria.
- Establish interoperability patterns and integration standards across cloud providers.
- Develop governance frameworks for security, operations, FinOps, and resilience.
- Define patterns for microservices, containers, service mesh, event-driven architecture, and API management.
- Ensure scalability, observability, resiliency, and operational supportability.
- Promote DevSecOps and Infrastructure-as-Code adoption.
