Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated full-time English Teacher to join the school community.

The role delivers engaging English instruction, develops language proficiency and critical thinking, and supports curriculum and school goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver English instruction across designated grade levels.
  • Develop lessons, assessments, and activities meeting curriculum standards.
  • Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs and styles.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and maintain records.
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate on cross-curricular projects and school initiatives.
  • Communicate with parents or guardians about student development.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience in English instruction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field, or an equivalent teaching credential.
  • Teaching certification or licensure as required by the local governing body.
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree or additional certifications in English, literacy, or TESOL/TEFL.
  • Experience with curriculum design and assessment development.
  • Proficiency with educational technology and online or hybrid teaching tools.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and literature.
  • Lesson planning, instructional strategies, and differentiation.
  • Assessment design, data analysis, and progress reporting.
  • Classroom management, student engagement, and positive behavior support.
  • Collaborative teamwork and communication with students, parents, and colleagues.
