Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver English instruction to students across designated grade levels.
• Develop and implement lessons, assessments, and activities that meet curriculum standards.
• Differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs and styles.
• Monitor and assess progress, provide feedback, and maintain student records.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate on cross-curricular projects and school initiatives.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student development.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in English instruction is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Education, English, or a related field, or an equivalent teaching credential, is required.
• Teaching certification or licensure required by the local governing body is required.
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills are required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.

Preferred Qualifications

• A master’s degree or additional certifications in English, literacy, or TESOL/TEFL are preferred.
• Experience with curriculum design and assessment development is preferred.
• Proficiency with educational technology and online or hybrid teaching tools is preferred.

Skills and Competencies

• Strong command of English grammar, vocabulary, and literature is required.
