About the Role
St. Regis Hotels & Resorts is hiring an Engineering Technician for their Downtown Dubai property. The role involves responding to guest repair requests, performing preventive maintenance on equipment, and general building maintenance.

Responsibilities
- Respond and attend to guest repair requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools, kitchen and mechanical room equipment
- Identify, locate, and operate all shut off valves and utility shut offs
- Perform repairs on plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and wood trim repair
- Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment
- Use Lockout/Tagout system before performing maintenance work
- Perform repairs on interior and exterior landscaping and sprinklers
Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
- Some experience in general maintenance, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
- Driver's License
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
