Role Description
- The Engineering Specialist is a part time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with flexibility for some work from home.
- This role involves supporting healthcare related engineering projects, including maintaining and improving medical facility infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
- The Engineering Specialist will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to analyze technical requirements, troubleshoot mechanical and manufacturing engineering issues, and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Typical tasks include reviewing project specifications, preparing technical documentation, coordinating with vendors, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within healthcare facilities.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary healthcare and engineering teams.
- Candidates should possess Analytical Skills to assess technical problems, interpret data, and recommend practical engineering solutions.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and monitor engineering activities within healthcare settings.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills to support equipment maintenance, process optimization, and facility upgrades.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Biomedical Engineering (or related field).
- Experience in healthcare, hospital engineering, or medical device environments is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid arrangement, manage time independently, and adapt to changing project priorities.
- Familiarity with UAE or regional healthcare regulations and standards is an advantage.
