Engineering Manager / Coordinator

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve engineering documents before submission to QatarEnergy for review and approval.
• Lead and coordinate engineering activities in compliance with contract requirements, project specifications, QatarEnergy standards, and applicable international codes.
• Manage engineering interfaces between the company, QatarEnergy, vendors, subcontractors, and third-party stakeholders.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines and ensure timely resolution of technical issues and interfaces.
• Review and approve engineering inputs for method statements, work procedures, installation procedures, and commissioning plans.
• Monitor engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with project requirements and approved schedules.
• Coordinate design reviews and ensure comments are properly addressed and closed.
• Support project teams in resolving engineering and technical coordination issues.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• The role requires 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in engineering coordination or design coordination.
• Experience within infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Strong experience is required in multidisciplinary engineering coordination, design review and approval, engineering document review and management, interface coordination, and technical coordination with stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of international engineering standards and project specifications is required.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills are required.
• QatarEnergy experience is advantageous.
• Relevant Qatar or GCC project experience is preferred.
