Maintain plumbing and mechanical systems that support hotel operations, guest comfort, and safety.
Work as part of the hotel Engineering team in a hands-on maintenance role.
Responsibilities
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of plumbing and mechanical systems.
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair pipes, pumps, valves, drainage systems, sanitary fixtures, and mechanical equipment.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests while minimizing disruption to guests and hotel operations.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.
- Support the Engineering team during projects and emergencies.
Qualifications
- Hold a technical certificate, diploma, or recognized trade qualification in plumbing, mechanical maintenance, or a related field.
- Have previous plumbing or mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or large commercial property.
- Have practical knowledge of plumbing systems, pumps, valves, drainage, and mechanical equipment.
- Demonstrate good fault-finding, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Be flexible to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and emergencies as required.
