Overview/Basic Function

  • Perform clerical duties ensuring orderly delivery of materials; assist in negotiating non complex contracts with vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unpack shipments, verify contents against purchase orders.
  • Write issue tickets and record stock issued.
  • Maintain interface with vendors for procurement.
  • Assist in negotiating non complex contracts.
  • Operate computer for inventory control.
  • Prepare forms for change orders, bid requests.
  • Perform secretarial work for supervisor.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Assist Director of Engineering with reports and budgets.
  • Communicate effectively with associates.
  • Participate in problem solving teams.
  • Screen and route mail.
